At the concert on Seili island, you will hear fresh music from Superposition‘s second album, set to be released in July. Led by drummer Olavi Louhivuori, the quartet’s energetic music is diverse and daring, blending traditional jazz with modern tones and experimentation. The band’s expression is powerful and intense, yet also deep and multi-dimensional. Each member brings their own musical background and vision to the collective sound, creating a completely unique sonic landscape.

Superposition gained recognition by winning the Jazz Album of the Year Emma Award for their debut album in 2020. The band’s live performances offer audiences an unforgettable music experience, combining virtuosity, creativity, and strong musical expression. The members of the quartet are all talented musicians in their own right, contributing to various projects such as Oddarrang, Linda Fredriksson Juniper, Mopo, OK:KO, and Adele Sauros Quartet.

The connection vessel M/S Norrskär transports the concert audience from Turku to Seili island and back. You can also come to the concerts with your own transport. A limited number of individual concert tickets are on sale at the door.

The duration of Panu Savolainen’s concert is approx. 40 minutes and Superposition will perform for approx. 60 minutes. There is time for lunch between the concerts at the restaurant. Weather permitting, the latter concert will be held outdoors.
