Warm thanks to the summer festival audience!

The Turku Sea Jazz event in the summer of 2023 reached 2000 visitors, with approximately 200 more tickets sold than last year. We are especially delighted by the wide age range of our audience: our visitor survey received responses from 20-year-olds to those over 85. One-third of the festival audience were first-time attendees this summer, and a significant portion had come specifically for our exciting program offerings.

The immersive concert journey to Seili island has garnered much praise and attention in the international music media. Our audience considers the values represented by the festival to be extremely important, with a strong emphasis on the significance of protecting the Baltic Sea in their responses. It’s nice to see that we are on the right track! This is a good starting point as we move towards next summer.
