Turku Sea Jazz 2026 brings the highlights of the summer live music season!
8.5.2026
The full programme for Turku Sea Jazz 2026 has now been released! From 29 July to 1 August 2026, the maritime jazz festival will spread across the riverside of Turku, the archipelago, and historic venues, offering audiences a unique combination of international top artists, leading names in Finnish jazz, and unforgettable concert settings.
The festival opens on Wednesday, 29 July with a free opening evening at Cathedral Park Terrace, featuring New York-based guitarist Olli Soikkeli and his trio. The evening also includes a discussion hosted by the John Nurminen Foundation exploring the relationship between music and the sea in celebration of the Jazz Finland 100 anniversary year.
During the daytime, the popular Museum Musicians series returns to the Forum Marinum museum area, where leading Finnish jazz artists from Johannes Granroth to Max Zenger perform among the exhibitions, making music part of the museum experience. On Thursday 30 July at 1 PM, the series also features the final concert of the Jazz Camp for Girls!
On Thursday 30 July, the festival heads to the Archipelago Sea with concerts by accordion artist Harri Kuusijärvi and Raoul Björkenheim POLYFREE on the island of Seili. Only a few tickets remain for the concert excursion.
On Friday and Saturday, the festival culminates in evening concerts at Ruissalo Boatyard. The stage at Lindblom Hall welcomes Maja Mannila Trio and legendary jazz pianist Joey Calderazzo, as well as Selma Savolainen in the shade and British saxophonist Camilla George with her energetic band. Audiences can also travel from central Turku or Forum Marinum to Ruissalo Boatyard aboard a jazz boat featuring live music.
Special festival experiences also include afternoon concerts aboard Forum Marinum’s great museum ships. Adele Sauros Quartet performs on Friday aboard Suomen Joutsen, while Saturday features Héctor Lepe Quartet aboard the museum ship Sigyn, combined with a boat journey to Ruissalo Boatyard and a three-course Sea Jazz Dinner at the acclaimed Restaurant Tenlén.
Turku Sea Jazz combines music, maritime atmosphere, and unique venues in a way that makes the festival one of the most exciting cultural events of the summer. Welcome aboard!
Two-day tickets to the Ruissalo Boatyard concerts are available with a Mother’s Day special offer for €65 (regular price €79)! Offer valid 7–10 May 2026 in Tiketti’s online store: tiketti.fi/turkuseajazz
