Museum musicians: Johannes Granroth

Live jazz with a museum ticket! Turku Sea Jazz brings music to the museum spaces of the Forum Marinum Maritime Centre. Surprising 15-minute musical performances take place in Kruununmakasiini (the restaurant building) from 10 am to 12 noon and in Linnanpuomi (the museum shop building) from 1 pm to 3 pm.

On Friday afternoon, guitarist and bassist Johannes Granroth performs, whose playing blends jazz, funk, soul, and rock into playful and soulful improvisation. One of the leading young musicians in Finland, Granroth has already captivated audiences around the world, including with the band Peela and the Maja Mannila Trio.
