klo 14:00

Museum ship Sigyn and restaurant Tenlén

95 € (includes the concert, boat transfers, a welcome drink and a three-course dinner)

On Saturday afternoon at Turku Sea Jazz, a unique concert experience awaits aboard the museum ship Sigyn!

This 19th-century merchant vessel, located in the maritime quarter of Forum Marinum, provides a remarkable setting for the Héctor Lepe Quartet. After the concert, the audience will be transported by the riverboat Aurella to Ruissalo Boatyard to enjoy a three-course Sea Jazz dinner at the top restaurant Tenlén. Dinner guests can choose a return transfer to Forum Marinum either right after dinner at approx. 7:15 PM or after the evening concerts at approx. 10:30 PM. Please note that tickets to the evening concerts at Ruissalo Boatyard are sold separately.

Please note that Sigyn has steep stairs, high thresholds, and strong scents.

Mexican-born and Helsinki-based guitarist Héctor Lepe leads a quartet whose music blends Latin American influences with modern jazz in a fresh and distinctive way. Lepe’s compositions draw inspiration from Mexican folk traditions, literature, and art, creating a rich and evocative musical landscape. The ensemble’s sound is nuanced and leaves ample room for the musicians’ individual expression.
