Antila/Tuuri/Mäkynen

In the lush garden setting of Seili’s main building, the Antila/Tuuri/Mäkynen trio performs world-class jazz that blends the fresh perspective of a younger generation with solid musical experience. Vibraphonist Mikko Antila and bassist Joonas Tuuri bring youthful energy to the group, while drummer Teppo Mäkynen – one of Finland’s most renowned jazz musicians – provides depth, impeccable groove, and rhythmic finesse. The trio’s repertoire features swinging jazz classics, elevated by lively and relaxed improvisation. Known for their intimate and captivating performances, the trio creates a warm atmosphere through seamless interplay and strong musical communication.

2:00 PM – Antila/Tuuri/Mäkynen, garden of the main building (in case of rain, in the church)
4:30 PM – M/S Lövskär departs from Seili
6:15 PM – Arrival in Turku

Pauli Lyytinen’s concert lasts approx. 40 minutes, and Antila/Tuuri/Mäkynen will perform for about 60 minutes. There is time for lunch between the concerts. In case of rain, the second concert will also be held in the church.
