Turku Sea Jazz’s New Addition: A Concert in a Surprise Location and a Delicious Sea Jazz Dinner!

At the intimate Saturday afternoon concert of Turku Sea Jazz, the special trio Kaisa / Gunu / Max will perform at a surprise location at Forum Marinum! After the concert, enjoy a three-course dinner at Restaurant Göran.

The tastiest new addition to Turku Sea Jazz is the concert and dinner package on Saturday, August 3rd. For this concert, the tailored trio Kaisa / Gunu / Max will perform at a surprise location within the Maritime Centre Forum Marinum (Linnankatu 72) area, a place rarely accessible to the public! After the concert, enjoy a three-course Sea Jazz dinner at Restaurant Göran.

Bassist Kaisa Mäensivu and saxophonist Max Zenger went viral last summer at the Åland Sea Jazz with their video of playing jazz by the edge of a field for a group of curious cows. Now, the duo has been joined by trumpet lyricist Mikko Gunu Karjalainen, and together the trio will surprise and entertain audiences at Turku Sea Jazz on Saturday afternoon!

Schedule:
3:30 PM Gathering at Forum Marinum at the terrace of restaurant Göran
3:45 PM Welcome drinks at the surprise location
4:00 PM Concert: Kaisa / Gunu / Max
5:00 PM Three-course dinner at restaurant Göran

The welcome drink will be Le Contesse Prosecco Extra Dry or alcohol-free Lehtikuohu by Kontiomehu.

Sea Jazz Menu (fish)
– Sugar salted and charred Baltic herring, horseradish, cucumber and yuzu
– Poached rainbow trout with Nordic crayfish curry seasoned with sea buckthorn
– Raspberry mousse, salted licorice and raspberry sorbet
– Coffee or tea
– Water is served with the meal, other beverages can be ordered and paid for on-site

Sea Jazz Menu (vegan)
– Charred kohlrabi seasoned with Nori, horseradish, cucumber and yuzu
– Smoked Jalotofu with coconut curry seasoned with sea buckthorn
– Raspberry mousse, salted licorice and raspberry sorbet
