Turku Sea Jazz’s admission-free opening night is crowned by the Turku-based Punomo spin-off band Puños, playing deep jazz/funk/soul music in the spirit of blaxploitation films.

The evening begins at 6 PM with the duo Ukko Heinonen & Josu Mämmi. During the intermission at 7 PM, there will be a Baltic Sea-themed panel discussion featuring current expert guests discussing well-being and the state of the Baltic Sea under the guidance of the John Nurminen Foundation.
